Accessibility

Whatever suits you best. Your browser remembers it, without a cookie.

Legal

Accessibility.

Our site should work for everyone: with a mouse, with a keyboard, with a screen reader, on a big screen and on a phone. Here's what we do to make that happen, and where things still get stuck.

Our goal

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We do this voluntarily, because it's simply part of good software.

What the site can do

  • Settings: In the top right of the header, you can switch off motion, enlarge the text or increase the contrast. Your browser remembers your choice.
  • Motion: If you turn on "Reduce motion" in your system settings, no animations run. The smoke, the network, the ticker and the custom cursor can be paused at any time.
  • Keyboard: Everything works without a mouse. A "Skip to content" link takes you past the menu, and the focus is always visible.
  • Section guide: On the homepage, a bar of dots on the right takes you to each section, by mouse or by keyboard. It tells screen readers which section you're currently in.
  • Languages: The site is available in several languages; you can switch via the globe in the header or the list at the very bottom. Every page tells screen readers its language, and Arabic runs from right to left.
  • Testimonials: They change on their own, but pause as soon as the mouse or focus is on them. With "Pause motion" switched on, they only change when you click on a face.
  • Screen readers: Clean headings, landmarks and labels, images with descriptions, and error messages in the form are read aloud.
  • Readability: Contrast in line with WCAG, freely scalable text, and pages that fit any screen width without scrolling sideways.
  • Without scripts: The content, the contact form and the code field for the video call also work without JavaScript.

Where there are still limits

  • The screenshots in the projects are images. We describe them briefly; a screen reader won't read out all the text in them.
  • Bärbel, our AI assistant, answers automatically. Her answers may contain errors, and they appear word by word. With "Pause motion" switched on, they appear all at once.
  • Remote support and the video call run on their own pages. The instructions given there apply to using them.

How we check this

We test the site ourselves: with Google Lighthouse, with our own check of every page for labels, headings and contrast, with the keyboard and on a phone. Most recently on 27 October 2026.
