The challenge
Cash-basis accounting (EÜR) shouldn't mean typing in every single transaction. We wanted bookkeeping software that posts straight from the bank statement, delivers all the reports along the way and stays secure and GDPR-compliant in the process.
Our solution
webT@X is our own bookkeeping software, which we have been using ourselves for many years, now completely rebuilt. It fetches transactions straight from the bank via FinTS, read-only and with approval via pushTAN. Suggestions are generated from previous bookings, and the AI helps at the push of a button, via servers in Germany. Bank reconciliation, account ledgers, VAT, the EÜR with prior-year comparison, the fixed asset register and even an income tax forecast are produced along the way, and the tax adviser gets their own access. We migrated all the data going back to 2013, with thousands of comparisons between old and new and not a single discrepancy.
